I see them very easily manipulating the Penguins into this for their win.
I did keep comparing the way Canucks fans/media talked about JT to the way TO media talked about Phil. If this one works out for PIT the same way that one did it's worth it.

/No idea if JT likes hot dogs though, and there aren't too many hot dog carts on Vancouver sidewalks :D

With the way HOF GMJR's time ended in Pittsburgh and Hextall actually being a double agent for the Flyers there is no way this will end up good for the Penguins.

Lol
The nhl says its will scrutinize any trades for currently injured players with an eye on cap circumvention. Yet it’s perfectly fine to reach the cap floor with those contracts of guys who will never play again. Isn’t it the same thing? What a joke of a league.
the same league that was employing Chris Pronger to hand out suspensions to NHL players, WHILE HE WAS ON the roster on an NHL team.
just a fucking gongshow.

no offense to our Pens fans on here, but i don't see a single player on that roster that I would want in return.
either age doesn't fit, or contract doesn't fit, or they suck. sometimes a combination.
presumably we would take Zucker back for the rest of the year to make the $$ work, but he has 10 team no trade list, so :noidea:

load up on prospects and picks!

No offense taken, don't worry neither do we. Anything taken in return would be total junk/contract dump from the Penguins.

a couple of items here:
1. he has definitely stopped sulking on the ice in recent weeks, so that message has gotten though
- lose the puck on OT or on the powerplay, swear loudly and just stand there, watch opposing team score
2. on a team with better defense, these issues with his game in the back 2/3 of the ice can be protected better. On the Canucks, if there's a weakness in coverage (JT, or Angry Elf, or whoever), our 5 AHL defensemen can't pick up the slack.

he does score a lot.
