he's mostly dependable in his own end and hits a ton.
In the offensive end, he throws it at the net (better at getting it through this year), or passes to Quinn Hughes. lol.

Leafs aren't one of the teams I looked at for being desperately missing a d-man, though

Everything I've heard on the radio the past few months is he looks much worse than he did earlier in the season. And that he isn't playing with Quinn Hughes anymore.

That is actually a good deal for the Oilers. Subtracting Barrie alone is a good win if you need to improve your defense.

That's true, although he's been pretty good on the Oilers PP and that's where they get about 40% of their offense.

I agree. I wouldn't have messed with that PP. It'll probably keep humming with 97 and 29 but I wouldn't take that chance.

That was my assumption they probably think he is replaceable due to 97 and 29 manning the PP.
