dang it.
Chargers tell the world Keenan Allen isn't going anywhere.

Kinda thought me might be to expensive for the Chargers.
Rams tell Alan Robinson's agent to seek trade partner and the Rams would pay a portion of his 15M salary.

Jerry?

That's a nope for me. He was horrible last year and was no better the year before. Couldn't get open and when he did couldn't catch. Not sure I'd give him the veteran's minimum if he is the player he was last year.

Not sure I'm as sure as you seem. You have a point about last season. Rumors still beat the OBJ drum. Who between Robinson & OBJ would you prefer.

he's gotta be as one of a three-man backfield after he makes the team.

I also think he lasts at least to the 4th.

I would go neither. I think a premium pick on one of the really strong TE's in this draft along with a mid round WR, another year removed from the injury for Gallup, and maybe a bargain FA are the way to go. And hope Tolbert or Turpin take a step forward. I just don't think you can give Lamb $20 million per(coming soon), pay Gallup what we are paying him, and then go give a Robinson or OBJ $15-20M per as well

I don't care how they do it. We need a stud opposite of CD. Hopkins would be my pick. When you have two studs, it opens up so much. The defense cannot just double CD.

West Coast Offense.
TO ME, that means one/two decision and the ball out of the hand quickly. This also means yards after catch. I've said before, a veteran & draft pick are needed and, a year two flashing from Tolbert. Turpin said he's been told he will be involved in the passing game. Five maybe 6 pass catchers along with a drafted TE to pair with the two rookies. Add another big play space guy type at runningback.

Short version review:
Multiple playmakers
Yards after Touch.
Cut down passing game decisions and get the ball out.

That's a good point on Turpin. West Coast would seem a perfect fit for him

I do too. Wonder why he was not used much on offense last year.
I think in this offense where you have a lot of slants and crosses instead of option routes and in cuts, Turpin would put a lot of pressure on the defense. Get that little dude the ball on the move and he would at least make the DC have to account for his speed
