I don't think he is worth the $18M this year but non-guaranteed $13M next year is nice. Would like to see Hou take on some of that 2023 salary. But definitely made the team better. Now how about Wagner and resigning Hankins!!!!

I get the feeling our scouting department feels like this draft is shallow. The FO is using that to go out and fill holes the way we have not seen for years. This is a good balance of filling our team, using cap wisely on vets that will start and not putting our draft at risk.

I see him costing us 12.3 mil. (was figuring around a 10 mil WR to come in, so not bad)

A wideout was needed. I guess a good move? I admit I am not doing cartwheels over this move. The money not horrible. He is a major upgrade over Noah Brown so there is that.

That was before Hou ate $6M in salary. His total 2023 salary was $18M
For Dallas:
2023 $12.35M
2024 $16.5M but none guaranteed so can get out after 1 year if we want

Kicker? Can't never have enough quality lineman.. I am guessing they take a lineman or even TE with 26. What I like is Cooks looks ideal for a WC scheme . I think they may try to bring back Fowler and Hankins?

It would be nice. This team would benefit greatly with this addition. Really would go a long way setting the priorities towards winning football games.

Never have enough skill players RB, S, corner, te, and yes...wr too

if they take a TE at 26 & a kick ass DT is on the board I will go ballistic! We dont need to be drafting TEs in the 1st round!

Since Cooks has been in the league, the only player with more 25+ yard catches than Cooks is Tyreek Hill...

if they take a TE at 26 & a kick ass DT is on the board I will go ballistic! We dont need to be drafting TEs in the 1st round!

I would like to see offensive line, defensive line or corner. TE and RB are too deep this year to go round 1 there, unless its Bijan Robinson, but there is zero chance he is there IMO

One thing is Cooks had subpar QB play most of the the past two years in Houston. Then no help really either the past two years from QB or other recievers . Having Dak and Cee Dee out there is going to help him.

Possibly TE,but I think the two rookies last season looked the part. The game was not too big for them and they both were very confident . Even arrogant at times

What I love about the two trades...Gilmore doesn't have to come in and man up the #1 WR...Diggs will do that. Gilmore can certainly do that.
Cooks doesn't have to beat the other teams top corner...that will be Lamb. Cooks and another year removed from surgery for Gallup, Dak should have a lot more clean throws
