Report: Steelers hire Aaron Curry as linebackers coach
The Steelers are hiring Aaron Curry from the Seahawks' staff as the linebackers coach, Matt Zenitz of On3Sports reports.

Interesting... Jerry O is no longer. Been a good run for him as an inside hire. Probably the right call to move away from him though as the ILBs have been meh since Shazier went down. Jerry became ILB coach in 2015. The year after Shazier was drafted, and 2 years after Bince. He spent 5 seasons as an assistant prior to that. Might have benefitted from having Keith Butler around, who was a defacto LB coach.![]()

I keep seeing people sayin they wouldn't mind having Mason return & trading away Mitch....
Just out of curiosity, does anyone here agree with that?
He is an expensive backup though...
Well... I'm not mad at this. I think Mitch is serviceable, and above all else, capable of being healthy when needed. Just not the guy most thought he could be around this time last year. A lot of people were somehow convinced that he would be something greater. He might even show some improvements with a better OL in front of him

If hes fine staying in that capacity im happy as can be to have him.

Its a position im ok spending a bit more at. The one position that can wreck your whole season. He is an expensive backup though...
I definitely think keeping a vet QB that already knows our playbook is better than trying to sign a FA.

Eh. It is what it is. As long as they dont have to rely on Trubisky for extended periods of time, it should be okay
