I always wondered why the Steelers didn't go get him back in Nov when the Giants waived him. Pretty sure he went back on their PS a week later because nobody claimed him. Don't recall the stipulations to claims, because the Steelers might have been required to hold him on the 53 for a week or 2 before putting him on the PS. TJ Watt was coming off his injury at the time, and they released LB Hamilcar Rashed. 2 weeks after Roche went back on NYG PS the Steelers signed LB Egbule to their PS.

I like Roche as a developmental edge guy.

Art & the staff are happy with settling for 27th-32nd rankings in every statistical category on offense just because they don't want to start all over again with a new OC. And they want to hide behind the fact that they "showed improvements in the 2nd half of the year" against some of the worst teams in the league.

I'm not sayin they need drastic changes... Nor do they need to throw everything they have at FA or staff... But for fucks sake man just set a higher bar. Hold your staff more accountable.
