Will add signing Spillane was the better choice out of him or Bush.Okay.
We got him on the cheap.
Even though Bush has a higher ceiling he has regressed horribly since his knee injury.

And that's fine. I liked Spillane. As a package and ST guy, he's fine. If you need him to be a starter, you're gonna have headaches.Okay.

Interesting. Seahawks are really scraping the barrel here. I thought for sure they would be wanting a reunion with Bobby Wagner.
Every comment I have seen, this was an amazing signing for the Steelers.Steelers add to offensive line, sign Seumalo, sources say
abcnews.go.com
He has the foot quickness to redirect defenders and the body control to wrestle back against power rushers and create a firm base in the pocket. His pass block win rate of 93.6% ranked 15th among all guards this season, while his run block win rate ranked 20th.
Seumalo, 29, was a third-round draft pick by the Eagles in 2016 out of Oregon State. He has started 60 games over seven seasons in Philadelphia, helping to make up one of the better offensive lines in football over that stretch.
He is credited with helping to shape the game plan in the offensive line room along with position coach Jeff Stoutland and center Jason Kelce.
Eagles fans love him too.Every comment I have seen, this was an amazing signing for the Steelers.
Really turning into a good FA signing for this team. Something we haven’t seen in years.
We'll see what kind of cajones Khan has now that he has the reins. But I doubt they move up given how badly they got burned by Devin Bush, and seeing recent success with standing pat. I have a feeling Khan & Weidl will be conservative.Draft trade ideas:
17 and 49 could get us to 9th overall, which is the most likely spot for Peter Skoronski.
Who wouldn't do that? Yeah that's a valuable 2nd round pick we could use on a CB or DL or ILB. But to get the LT? I'm all over it.
Alternatively, it would take 17 and 32 to go to 6th to grab Christian Gonzales, who is far and away the best CB in this draft. Great player, but much less enthused about losing that 32nd.
1 CAR CJ Stroud
2 HOU Bryce Young
3 ARI Will Anderson
4 IND Will Levis
5 SEA Tyree Wilson
6 DET Christian Golzales
7 LAR Anthony Richardson
8 ATL Jalen Carter
9 CHI Peter Skoronski
10 PHI Lucas van Ness
11 TEN Devon Witherspoon
12 HOU Jaxon Smith-Njigba
13 NYJ Paris Johnson
14 NE Quentin Johnson
15 GB Isaiah Foskey
16 WAS Brian Branch
Also possibly gone with a little shuffling: Joey Porter Jr, Calijah Kancey, Myles Murphy, Bijan Robinson, Michael Mayer.
With that, where do the Steelers go at 17?
For OT's it's Broderick Jones, Jaelyn Duncan Dawand Jones, or Darnell Wright. Maybe one of them is available at 32.
For CB, it's Joey Porter Jr, Tyrique Stevenson
LB and DL: Nolan Smith, Myles Murphy, Calijah Kancey, Trenton Simpson
At 32:
Tackle: Anton Harrison, who I don't think is any worse than any of the guys who will be available at 17. And no one at tackle is starting over our current guys unless it's Skoronski or Paris.
CB: Cam Smith , Ringo, Deonte Banks, Antonio Johnson, Quan Martin. Be happy with any of them
LB and DL: Mazi Smith, Bresee, Drew Sanders, Jack Campbell, To'o To'o, Overshown, Keanu Benton
Might see at TE at pick 49.
Without a trade-up, I could see Murphy being the pick, or Simpson (or Porter if he's available, he's a very likely choice for them). Then Tackle at 32. Then a CB or TE at 49. I think the sweet spot for Tackle is 32 if they don't trade up for one of the top two. Other positions will be immediate contributors, tackle won't outside of injury or jumbo sets.
Weidl dealt with a lot top end pick movement under Roseman to get what he wants, btw.
