My thought also when I saw that contract. It could have been something very easily matched by the Steelers.Peanuts. 100% believe he just wanted to move on.

We could see anywhere from top 3 to top 6 OT's going in 1st.The OSU RT, Dawand Jones, might be just as good. I'd be very happy with him.
I don't see him making it to 32, either.
What in the fuck is Mark Kaboly doin in this video... Lookin like a stoner that just dropped some rhoto's in his eyes
Looking at the available Safeties not really sure who would be of the proper value for the Steelers?
I liked Neal coming out of college but his injury history is scary.^ Looking at that list I am surprised Tomlin didn't have interest in Keanu Neal. Went to an SEC school and has familiarity in playing with Kazee.
Same thoughts on him. When he was drafted and seeing his early years in Atlanta he looked like a perfect fit for the Steelers but he essentially became Devin Bush after the injury which is a shame.I liked Neal coming out of college but his injury history is scary.
John Johnson has some allure given his experience with the AFCN. He started all 17 games & had over 100 tackles last year. I know the safety market is weird, but it surprises me that he's still available.
I like that new rule. It gives a longer look at guys for possible practice squad signees.Another reminder... I keep forgetting
Mixed feelings. I like the longer look, but it also gives players a much shorter window to get resigned before the season starts. It was always the respectable thing to do to cut someone in the 1st waive to give them more time to land somewhere else and get acquainted before the season. This new rule will essentially be casting players into the fire week 1 with very little prep if they are going to be depended on for snaps.I like that new rule. I'm cool with Avila at 32. Cole has played well, but he's already 27, and his contract runs through 24, and he's an easy cut in his last year.Fuck yes. I'm still OL or bust so this is music to my ears... or eyes... or whatever
Very true, I was thinking they will continue to cut players and players will move around plenty. I look at it this way you have that larger roster to bring guys in and out as necessary or that was my thought.Mixed feelings. The NFLPA probably put something into the works to help with this. I'm just not aware of all the intricacies of how that rule went in. Maybe they allow players to speak with other teams while under contract or something.Very true, I was thinking they will continue to cut players and players will move around plenty. Didn't think of it that way as it might hurt certain players if they get strung out until the end.
Moving this in here. Didn't realize I posted it in the Dupree threadPoop… hopefully CA3 makes an immediate impact
Also, Anthony Miller should be healthy.
