Thyrick Pitts

6'2" 200 pounds and quick - very green. Likely headed for our PS.
We picked him up on waivers after Chicago waived him. Could he previously been earmarked for signing as UDFA?
......said Pitts, who posted a 4.37-second time in the 40-yard dash and a 39-inch vertical jump among his highlights in front of NFL scouts....
  • Showed off his size, speed and explosiveness at pro day.
  • Hands-catcher with soft mitts and good timing.
  • Spies throws and focuses to bring them in over defender.
  • Looks to put defenders on his hip and fight for catch space.
  • Able to spear throws with sudden hands.
  • Will put in work to help in the run game.
Yeah.

Jaylen Hurd retired.

Sounds great on paper.

Falls right in line with BBs strategy of finding WRs. Hope to catch lightning in a bottle. Worked well when there was a certain #12 throwing the pig skin around. So far not so much. MTF

Between Bourne, Boutte, Douglas and Parker I think we will see a solid solid WR group.
I am confident JuJu will elevate nicely as well.

Not seeming to hear much about Gesicki and Hunter though.

Douglas and Parker are starting to step out as Mac's favorite targets. BOB must have said something to Mac because Bourne is starting to see more passes in his direction too. Mac is staying after practice to work with Thorton. He was a mess working under Patricia and Judge as a rookie. Mac says that he's making a huge step forward. I'm not expecting miracles, but I am in hopes that Thorton can somehow break out of that bubble he was in.

I feel he has already contributed more than Harry, but it would be nice to see him take a nice giant step forward. If Douglas and Boutte can contribute, both of them are pretty fast, but I'm not sure they have Thornton speed. Nice to have that weapon in the bag.

Didn't we think we were all set about this time last year?

I saw a report this morning that Gesicki has been ineffective this season.
I would have posted in stupid news but it wasn't even interesting.....
