Sunday was a breako-ut day for the offense from all reports. Even McSorely was sharp.

Still no pads.

BB says everyone will be padded up today.

According to NESN, the temps dropped and the crowd was immense. Sounds like a lot of fans skipped church.

For all of te good things that have been going on, there's a problem that's not getting much attention.

Calvin Anderson OT has not been to camp. NFI. Non Football Illness.
Trent Brown wasn't in pads today.
Owenue has been on the field, recovering from surgery
Coe Strange had a minor injury and left the field today. He did try to go bck but was not allowed. Just to be safe.

Defensive line was not going full tilt. They appeared to be trying to give the QBs their needed reps and not tagging them for "sacks". Passes don't count if they get touched by a defender.

No one is saying a word. Bourne still has not caught a pass since camp started. Today, he was not targeted once. WTF??

The best WR in Camp for the first five days has been Damario Douglas. The 5'8" WR has been like a waterbug. The only problem is that he breaks his routes to get wide open and then catches the pass but not where BOB wants him to go. He'll get his head taken off by a FS or SS in a real game.

Great statement: "Every top quarterback has one outstanding WR or TE that he can constantly rely on when everything breaks down. The Patriots do not have that one outstanding pass catcher. Mac Jones will succeed or fail because of the talent that surrounds him." Phil Perry 7/31/2023

Damian Douglas is playing with the first team. Media watchers are saying that he may be 5'8" but is showing incredible flashes of Welker, Edelman and Amendola in the slot. "He's definitely quicker and cuts as sharp or sharper as any WR ever to ever play in the slot. No DB on the Patriots has been able to cover him completely. When asked, BOB said, "He's got a ways to go, but he's starting to listen and it's paying off."

Pencil in Douglas as the slot WR.

Mehh its all to early with no pads and helmets and no run game there is a decided advantage to the defense. I read that almost all of the offense to date has been Red Zone offenses which is good.

but you posted it so anyone with a comment about the article will respond to YOU. I doubt anyone means it as a criticism to the poster unless the posting is used to validate a stated opinion or is part of an ongoing pattern.

Thyrick Pitts

6'2" 200 pounds and quick - very green. Likely headed for our PS.
We picked him up on waivers after Chicago waived him. Could he previously been earmarked for signing as UDFA?
......said Pitts, who posted a 4.37-second time in the 40-yard dash and a 39-inch vertical jump among his highlights in front of NFL scouts....
  • Showed off his size, speed and explosiveness at pro day.
  • Hands-catcher with soft mitts and good timing.
  • Spies throws and focuses to bring them in over defender.
  • Looks to put defenders on his hip and fight for catch space.
  • Able to spear throws with sudden hands.
  • Will put in work to help in the run game.
