On one hand its the type of question that will rub a player the wrong way so you can expect a poor response... Especially these younger guys with maturity issues

But on the other hand... It's alarming that this kid doesn't seem to care at all. As if he's already made his peace with moving on from this team. And we can't blame that on the declined 5th yr option, because that usually motivates these kids, not drives them to whatever this is... Complacency? This feels more like a reaction to multiple offseasons of getting dragged by the media & fanbase.

Personally, this pisses me off. And it likely has pissed off the coaches if they heard this. Whichever way you look at it, it points to maturity issues. Even to the ones saying he gave a "shitty response to a shitty question", you would still think he would have some sort of modesty involved in his response. Going through the adversity he has should humble him a little, but clearly hasn't.

I'd trade him because he doesn't look like he's goin to be a capable contributor this year. If what we saw last Saturday, after a full offseason with Flores, is the best it gets... Yea I think I've seen all I need to see. At this point he's just dooming any trade value he has by putting more film out there.

Yep. First time in camp so far. The tides are shifting on Rudolph. Don't think Trubisky's starting job is at risk yet. I sure hope they get a deal done for the Reindeer this week.

Yeah. Would really like to see Pickett locked into that 2-spot and Olalaladooka get some reps too.

As far as Pubes v Pickett, I don't see Pickett overtaking that spot yet. And I'm not sure what I'm hoping for. Worried about that offensive line hindering Pickett's confidence if he were to end up with the job. Would be nice to see him be so absolutely lights out they can't deny him a place at that table though too.
