Honestly, if Mason was the starter week 1 and Mitch is still on the roster it would be a complete failure.
Hit the nail on the head. I would lose a lot of faith in this staff if Mason is the starter week 1. I don't give a shit if he's playing like Joe Montana in camp. You can't convince me that he won't still be the same scared fawn in the pocket on week 1 as soon as he takes a shot across the bow.
