No dude. He can bust but his ceiling is waaaaay higher than sweeds. If pickens is healthy, he has alpha #1 wr traits and should be further along than claypool, unless claypool put in major work this off season. I also mean claypool now, not as a rookie. Pickens legit has top 5 wr upside. I know thats just a massive leap, but not many have that tool box

Injury & character concerns were his biggest downfall in the draft. I sure hope the character concerns were overblown drama, because all of the interviews I've seen in camps this offseason depicts a completely different person than what the national media portrayed pre-draft. I'm optimistically thinking its just the on-the-field stuff that made him problematic. He's got that alpha personality and he wants to demoralize his opponents. Some scouts claimed coaches said he was "uncoachable", or something of that nature... I'm thinking it was in reference to the heat of the moment during games. Because his demeanor in camps thus far has been a really solid dude & teammate. He's shown that he's willing to do the dirty work, he takes time to show appreciation to the fans, and not a diva that just wants attention & accolades.

But if the character concerns are more than that... Then Pickens should be viewed as a ticking timebomb.
