But, I think there is a argument to be made about him being higher than Durant, if their careers ended today.

It's been mentioned some in the Finals thread. Curry is very hard to place on those lists. He has the accolades and rings to be top 10 but the eye test says he doesn't carry teams the way top 10 guys do. It's all subjective anyway, I'd say he's around 14-16 but you can make a case for 10 and you can make a case for 20.

He even did work in Marvel Comics briefly, doing some work with Avengers comics character, Tigra). Anyways, bottom line, one of his storylines was also incestual. Straight garbage and I told him so. Needless to say he didn't take the criticism too well...

There is also the problem of personal bias.

If I didn't hate the pay-dophile extraordinaire, Karl Malone, with every fiber of my being, would I extend him the same courtesy that I do with Barkley in the " rings only matter if all other things are equal " debate?

Malone scored 6 more ppg, Tiiiimmmmy 2 more blocks.

A case could be made that Malone was better.

But, I'd never accept it, just like I will never accept LeBron over Jordan.....unless LeBron gets 3 more rings.

Bron can't ever be Montana.

But, he can be Brady and I recognize Brady as the GOAT.


But, for guys like Kobe, Malone....

Can't get passed my bias.

If there is a legitimate alternative, I'd take the other guy everytime.

Guys like Steph are the opposite.

I find him so likeable, I'd take him over guys that I find meh, even if they are a scooch better.

Yep at least I can see the hate towards him. He played like shit most of the series, shot 33% and 12% from 3. Avg 6 and 6 cmon man.

The Warriors had a great run but if it wasn't for KD and injuries where would they be sitting? A legit question, it's not taking anything away from him.
