One of my loves of this years draft class just declared.

DL DeMarvin Leal, Texas A&M.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LEAL! Probably will get annoyed this draft season about me talking about him.

Just to be clear - I enjoy reading @Draft Crazy's posts on college guys that stand out to him. He has an outstanding record in spotting talent over many years - so he has quality viewpoints. I tease him because I go all the way back to his personal puberty. He will always have the smell of a whippersnapper about him to me.

Placement in the draft: I don't see the 3 win teams suddenly rattling off 3-4 more wins, certainly not all of them. Safe to assume we won't be picking top 5. To trade from 6-10 to top 1 or 2 we would give up a lot for top QBs in a very weak QB class.

QB Situation: we have no coaches, gaps on defense, weak offensive line, and most importantly a team that crumples the very instant something goes wrong. Does a new QB fix that? Maybe Rodgers/Wilson, not some rookie struggling to get to NFL speed.

We have too many issues to chase 1 position. Especially in a year where that position is going to be weak.
A new coach could fix a lot of that...

The best TE/Receiver I have seen this year is the Freshman kid playing TE for Georgia.

What is our top priority outside QB?

I would say always Pass Rushers and Tackle and DLine. A sideline to sideline ILBer but who knows how Kenny Young, maybe AJ and Barrett will develop. Is the ILber from Georgia Nakobe Dean a game wrecker?

For me, Denver’s offense is likely to key off of JWilliams going forward. I have watched Cushenberry all year and have him as upgradable. I think we’re in the market for a starting center. We may or may not have the starting OGs need going forward. So QB, OC are the biggest upgrades on offense.
On defense, getting another blue chip talent in the middle of the DL would be sweet. Someone that commands double teams and can penetrate. Dean and Devin Lloyd would be welcome, too, though we may have more talent at OLB than we know. Time will tell.

*ILB

It would be sweet to hit the draft being able to BPA again.

1. RT
2. Edge
3. OG
4. DT
5. LB

Obviously, this is outside of the gaping QB need.

I'm surprised you have OG up as a top draft need. Are you moving Mienerz over to Center?

I’m not seeing Glasgow back next year. It’s really about depth. Mienerz has me convinced he’s a potential long term starter. Risener has been disappointing - but for sure I’ve not given up hope. Multi is a prospect still.

But you are right OC is probably more a need. I’ve just seen so many injuries on the OL the past few years I think we need to beef up the depth across the entire OL.

U doubt ILB is a high priority need next year.

We have two guys playing pretty good for us right now and we have two pretty good one's on IR... We have 4.. 1 that is signed. I am guessing we re-sign at least 1 of the 3 UFA's. I would agree with George's top 4. Of course free agency will drastically change draft needs but lets fill in what we can and have fun drafting BPA. :)

I like Surtain no doubt, but Imagine this front 7 with Parsons. He should’ve been the pick imo

I was skeptical of using the 9th pick on him with the questions of character. I’d wait a few years to see if any of that shows up before making that judgment. But no doubt he has been great so far.
