You want a KJ Hamler that works?

Every resource and the highest priority on this team is fixing the Oline. You could get better out of Lock or Bridgewater with a good Oline. Pass protect should come with a stadium Ole sound system.
I want trenches fixed first but, day 3 I'll take another Hamler if one's available after filling those needs.

You do understand that Paul is an addict, right?

Speed is a dangerous drug...

The biggest unknown for me regarding the OL is Munchak. How much responsibility for the apparent OL woes lay at his feet? He’s supposed to be some sort of savant. Is he?
He seems to have gotten Bolles going. Cushenberry moved up from the bottom of OC ratings from last year, so, ….maybe?

But, for me, the OL has not shown well as as a whole unit this year. Consistently. If we’re going to have a strong running attack we need blocking schemes that can make that a strength.

I have not read every post in this thread yet, but does anyone have any thoughts on Nevada QB Carson Strong ?? .. he's had a history of issues with his knee, but he looks about as natural out there on the field as it gets ...

Everyone seems to love him and I’m over here worried he’s another “guy looks great against subpar competition so everyone thinks he’s a can’t miss type of player”. Dude seems to check all the right boxes but he reminds of a better Daniel Jones(expect slightly bigger hands).

Probably goes higher then we end up picking but I would think Purdue EDGE George Karlaftis is going to be a player with a lot of BUZZ to Denver going into the draft process. He seems to range all over the first round right now from #2 to #20... My projection would be top 10.

Bowl season is awful this year. Still making the most of it. Between covid, transfer portal and opt outs due to declaring for the draft many of these games feel more like a pre season game. Purdue/Tennessee is on right now.

Aaron Rodgers is staying in Green Bay so ya better hope for Wilson who is quickly declining.

The reality of Rodgers remaining in Green Bay is something a lot of fans, myself included, like to ignore ..While watching the GB game yesterday, they brought up Matt LaFleur's record, which is now 39-9, and the immediate thought is "why would Rodgers leave this situation ?" ... Lambeau Field is the consensus greatest venue, the organization is top notch - why would Rodgers leave for a complete unknown as far as staff and ownership ??

On the other hand ... How much of that 39-9 record can be credited to Rodgers ?? How about Nathaniel Hackett ?? .. What if they came as a pair ?

I do agree that Russell Wilson seems a more realistic option for the Broncos .. and at 33, I'm not sure I would tag Wilson in "decline", esp quickly ... Reports of his decline may be greatly exaggerated ... The situation in Seattle over the past couple of years certainly does not lend itself to giving Wilson the chance to prosper ...

I think we'd see a rejuvenated Russell Wilson if he were to land in Denver ..

The one thing that scares me is Paton going after Kirk Cousins ..

I get the vibe Rodgers is happy in Green Bay now.

I don't think he is looking to be a package deal with Hackett. Could be wrong but I think he plays another year or two in GB then calls it a career.

If I were a betting man, this scenario is where I'd put my money

When can I annoy you all with pimping out DB's and WR's that Denver won't be taking?

Few players that I am overeally obsessed with (not even saying for Denver)

DeMarvin Leal of Texas A&M
Wan'Dale Robinson of Kentucky
Chris Olave of Ohio State
Derek Stingley of LSU
Kaiir Elam of Florida (May not even declare)
Roger McCreary of Auburn
Andrew Booth of Clemson
George Karalifis of Purdue (probably goes in the top 5 though)
Jalen Pitrie of Baylor
Raachad White of Arizona State
Jerrion Ealy of Miss State
Zach Carter of Florida
Smoke Monday of Auburn
Nakobe Dean of Georgia
Nolan Smith of Georgia
Jameson Williams of Alabama

I will stop there. (but only for tonight)

Florida really doesn't have a lot of prospects in this years draft especially if Elam stays as Brenton Cox is already staying for another year. Trey Dean announced he is staying as well but probably needed to.

Early and Wan'Dale Robinson are probably not guys we are looking at due to their positions but BPA and return abilities make them a possibility.

BPA..... then aim for Bailey Zappe a bit later in the draft. We don't reach for a QB in round 1 in a weak class, but still have a very intriguing player that could at least provide a good backup, and possibly more.:noidea:
