2025 Draft discussion thread

Gone are the days - where the Broncos would pick a guy out of the obscure like Julius Thomas - get him some all-pro mentions and then throw him back into the pool of players like = there's plenty where that came from. TE's actually have to block in today's NFL - they tip the balance in the run game and the pass pro.

This next Draft should be amazing . We IMO dont need much . I believe in this roster we have .Reps Reps Reps ..that is were we are . We have the talent time to develop it .

I think our TE are better than they are showing . We are loaded at every skill set.

We are just young.

We really need big play WR ..... We have two that could develop .

We need a Rod Smith badly at this point.

this next 7 games will be interesting . Our Development may mean we are not drafting like in the past . Our team is so close to not needing the Draft to get better but to put us over the top.

What contending team wants to play the Denver Broncos right now? The Broncos are getting better before our eyes and the schedule is going to get easier. Still, whatever happens - this has been a fun season.

I wanted to mention something about the Chiefs celebrating after beating the Broncos. You know they think the rivalry is on - when they jump around after this game like they won the Super Bowl.

yet you don't like a very physical RB that has shades of Emmitt Smith in his style of play .


I will say this I don't know if I would draft him but if we took a RB in front of him in the first round my goodness would I be mad as heck ... I believe he has more wiggle than Emmitt and Possibly more power .

In the playoffs I think a lot of people are going to fall in love with him .

I also think Boise St from center to to the RT are going to be Special in the NFL . I have no clue what they are draft stats wise

one last thing about him he using every drop of the field and I like how he runs to open field . He gets hit behind the line of scrimmage and finds ways to break the first guys tackle almost every time .

Saying all that we need TE and WR more so I would not draft a RB in the first two rounds ...

I love the kid. My one issue is this is looking like a very good RB class. So is it worth it to use our 1st round pick on him when you can still get a starting caliber RB in the 3rd round and feel very good about their chances of being good?

Jeanty, Quinshon Judkins is looking good, Omarion Hampton would be fun in this offense, Ollie Gordon, Kaleb Johnson would be awesome with his ability to run against loaded boxes like teams are playing against the Broncos (not as much the last couple of weeks with Nix showing more), TreVeyon Henderson, Jaydn Ott, D.J. Giddens (watched decent number of his games with being from Kansas and the kid is fun to watch).

There will be more names to emerge but this might be the best RB class I have seen in a long time. So makes sense of get a position with less depth early on then come back to RB later knowing you could be adding 2 starters.
