My guy Omarion Hampton with another great game.

Shemar James of Florida is looking more and more legit every game.

LSU gave up 6 sacks going into last night. Florida sacked them 5 times.

DJ Lagway is gonna be elite.
Omarion is the next Kelvin Bryant.

I think Penn State TE Ty Warren has Sean Payton written all over him. Seems like a perfect match for what we need and what Payton likes.

Having that TE that can be a true joker player is huge to make his offense go. Just look at Mims now playing part time RB. He understands how to use elite athleticism even if they are not the best at the little details of football. Warren at TE would give him a nice piece to really take this offense to another level.

is it too early to draft Burden from Mizzou
in the first. Does he have #1 WR qualities?

He is definitely first rd worthy. Down year stat wise but when your QB is injured in and out of the lineup all year that will hurt ya.

I'm torn on him. You see the skill set and there is a lot to like. I do worry about him being a day 1 impact guy. Somebody the other day said he reminded them of Laviska Shenalt and that image hasn't been able to get out of my head. I loved him when he was coming out of the draft but obviously his NFL career hasn't been what many thought it would be.

I know this isn't draft related but it connects to how the Broncos attack the draft. What FA would you be pounding the table for right now for the Broncos to bring in?

So great example is Tee Higgins for the WR position. Bengals have to pay Chase this upcoming offseason so I doubt they would pay both Chase and Higgins top WR money.

Or someone like Budda Baker who has thrived with Vance Joseph as his coach and still only 29? Who is that one name?

Its not all that great of a free agent crop for the talent we need. Tee Higgins is great, but is he anything more than really a high end #2 WR? Is he worth the max money he will want? ILB isn't all that great and TE crop is not good at all. I would actually prioritize Strnad, Bolles and then go for value free agents for depth at ILB, TE, CB and Safety and not really pound the table for anyone.

i actually like Brandon Jones
haven’t checked out the FA list yet.
torned on Tee. like the talent but then again he was a high 2nd rounder and really like how GB built their WR core.

If Nix is going to keep hitting 7-8 different receivers per game (one game 11) - why pay one like he's special?

I would agree I would not spend on Higgins. Loved him in this past game against the Chargers but the price and injury history are enough to keep me away especially as Mingo said I'm not sure the Payton system/Nix spreading the ball around makes it necessary to spend big on the position. Throw in guys like Vele are showing well as a good #2 type, Franklin/Mims are figuring out their role in the system, and I think you can use a midtier pick on the draft and find someone that can help. TE is the one position that I wouldn't mind seeing the Broncos spend a bit in FA and then use a premium pick in the draft. I think that is the position that could change everything for this offense.

Gonna be honest here. I don't like the Shenault/Burden comparison AT ALL. Burden is much more physical and uses his body much better. Burden has the size/speed combo. Shenault was not built to catch a lot of passes like Burden making is. I like Burden a lot. He has had some minor injuries, nothing major but usually always plays through them. This year was a bit of a down year for him mostly because his QB was hurt since the week 6 game and they don't have much behind him. Cook has been in and out of games and they run the ball a lot this year because of it.

Brandon Jones is a fantastic S. I don't see us in the FA market for a S that will cost a lot like Baker but I do see us drafting a young S to add some depth and be waiting to perhaps overtake Locke by year 2.

I didn't mean to put out there that we would sign Budda Baker because I agree Jones has been good. I do think Safety is a sneaky position I could see the Broncos drafting higher than people think as Locke and Jones do not have long-term contracts here and as good as they have been I think this is a good Safety class and would be nice to add someone that can be at the very least part of the future of the position.

As for Burden I keep going back and forth on him. There are a lot of things about his game I like, but there are some concerns of how long it will take for him to adjust to the NFL. My Laviska comparison is a lot of what they both could do once the ball was in their hands in turning a little 5-yard toss into a big TD down the field and being more than just a typical WR.

Honestly at this point I'm not sure WR is as big of a need as many think it is. I would love a true #1 type WR. Not sure beyond the kid from AZ if you are finding a true day 1 X receiver. There are others I like as a developmental piece, but for now he is my only one I would like if we moved on from Sutton. Vele though is proving to be a nice #2 Z receiver. Mims and Frankling are figuring some things out so like I said I think the unit as a whole isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. Especially if you upgrade the TE position I think life gets a whole lot easier for everyone else.

In the past 5-10 years, the majority of true #1 WRs were drafted around where Denver is projected to draft, around #20 or later. If we draft a TE early, we've got to hit a home run.
