We’ll have to see when the Steelers play a good team(next week against the Giants doesn’t count) if this week was the new normal for them or just beating up on a rapidly declining Jets team. Fields had 300+ yards and 3 TD’s 2 weeks ago against Indy so right now it’s not a night and day difference.
Aiyuk looks done for the year though (torn ACL). Will CMC and Deebo be enough? Is offense really the problem with them anyway?

I kinda look at that as smart teaching. The kid played awful so explain what he did wrong and let him know it's not acceptable or he might not get his big payday. Not sure what was said here but that's what I would have told him. There should be more of that and less of the pat on the back, go get em tiger crap we see. Don't have to be mean or abusive but a good chewing out never hurt anybody.

Ah, gotcha. And yeah, I have no doubt Purdy will get the bag anyway. I would just throw that in there as part of the ass chewing that I would give him. As for the response, I don't know. Did he do or say anything afterward? It looked like he took it the right way to me when I saw his press conference the other day but I don't know for sure. Sitting there and taking it and keeping your mouth shut seems like a good thing to me but maybe I missed something.
