On paper Luka & Kyrie sounds great.

But Kyrie's Kyrie.

He'll be happy at first. But who knows how long that will last.

He won’t respect Luka anymore than Brown and Tatum.

Luka is a bit more Seasoned.

Kyrie still will get aggrieved when not given the ball.

Nets fucked up. They were better off rolling the dice and seeing how well KD and Irving played in the playoffs. IMO they were the most dangerous team in the east. Plus, they will likely never be as good again, so you don't really lose much.

Lakers also fucked up, because Kyrie gave the Lakers a decent shot at winning another championship, and now they have 0 shot.

I’m not surprised. The Mavs had to do something drastic to help Luka. They have bad contracts and not many players to this caliber become available.

Yep. I understand the why behind this move.

If it works, they not only could very well win a title, but perhaps more importantly, keep Luka from leaving.

But if it doesn't, it could guarantee that he leaves.

I'll be surprised if it works.

The Mavs got Kyrie relatively cheaply because he is crazy as fuck. I don't like the trade for the Nets because they got so little in return. I would have just ridden this season out.
