Just saying his value isnt as a special teams player. Nobody is bringing him on for his special teams play. Mingo could contain on special teams if he played disciplined.
You can't discipline me - Junior. The fact that Freeman was actually out on Special Teams playing shows he gets the message.

In my opinion - the pass was in a decent spot for the catch, but the defender was right there and deflected the ball away.

I think Freeman would be willing to play special teams from day 1 it just isn’t something he makes an impact at.

Too bad about Boone, was looking forward to seeing him. 2 Weeks isn't bad as long as it doesn't linger though.
Good for Royce Freeman I was going to be sad to see him cut.

Well. It has to be during the season but yeah I am sure it happens... I think the NFL needed something like this though. It was long over due. Funny that NBA, MLB, NHL had IR to return rules, DL's etc, but the NFL never did until now. The league that probably needs them the most.
I don't understand game day inactives?? You have 53 player rosters or whatever it is and yet for some reason 8 have to not suit up on gameday???

It is because of injuries. NFL doesn’t want one team having a disadvantage. Example: Bears have 7 players out and Broncos are perfectly healthy (never happens but) then we have 7 more active players but with the new IR rule might be worth re-looking at how game day in-actives ars done, imo.

I was thinking it was because of economics - top 53 for salary cap -keeping guys at below league minimum etc.

He was referring to why the NFL makes each team name 7 inactives off the 53 man active roster on game days.

For what it is worth- I can tell you from knowing a few players on the Broncos that Diantae Spencer is one of the most well liked players on the team. He is a high energy guy who has nothing but love for and from his teammates.

To me it looked like a really good defensive play by one of the Vikings. Maybe the timing could have been better on our part but still looked like a defender making a play.

I would criticize that play call - not the execution of the play. I don't know - maybe the Broncos were intentionally testing Lock to see what he would do on that play - compared to previous years.

Yeah. It looked like a play designed with only one outcome; to get the ball to a certain WR at a certain spot on the field at a certain point in time. It did work in that it created a one-on-one match up and Lock probably nailed exactly what he was supposed to do there. But I like those plays (4th and Goal or Two Point Conversion) to have options.

I just went back and looked at the play again in slo-mo on Youtube because I really hadn't done it yet. Just going by the broadcast my impression was that everything other than that throw was smoke and mirrors to create the play that we saw. I'm left with the same impression after watching it again.

Lock played 20 plays and was in shotgun 7 times. 13 times he was under center. This is the Shanny offense per se.
Teddy was in shotgun half his snaps.

Also I like Levy and Griese as the Broncos pre season announcers. Watching other games, alot of bad announcing. Kudos to Broncos media for a top notch team.

Broncos are 0-8 in September last 8 games. The first 3 games this year are all winnable. Think the coaches are looking at what QB gives us the best chance to win in Sept. Think this fact is part of the evaluation process?
IMO, 1-2 or 0-3 this coaching staff is toast

I think if we start 0-3 there is a good chance this coaching staff is toast barring a great turn around. But I think if we start off bad we are in for another long season where this staff loses the team.... That being said... I don't think we start 0-3 :)
