Dukes, Bellamy and Sizer were all waived/injured which means they will go on IR then be released with an injury settlement once healthy.

Simmons now the second highest paid safety. Adams got 70M versus 61M for Simmons and 38M guaranteed versus 35M for Simmons. Funny how quickly the highest paid becomes a good deal. For what it is worth I would take Simmons over Adams regardless of contract.

I have always felt Jamal Adams is an overrated player Good safety, but to me he isn't in the top tier of S's in the NFL.. That is just me though.

He is pretty valuable for what he brings in terms of physicality and pass rush from that position, but his coverage ability is lacking and has to be covered up by others and scheme. Also the injuries have to be a long term concern. I would put him top 10 because of those rare traits but not top 5.

They can’t when a player is released off IR with an injury settlement the team that released him off IR can’t re-sign him that same year. Bellamy’s time is done in Denver.
