Speakin of....Agreed. At this point Pierre would really only be at risk if he suffers a camp injury and Gilbert shows out. The coaches love the kid's size & coverage skills. Layne is clearly the most athletic of the group, but it has yet to translate to the field and time is running out for him. Honestly what these guys do on the ST coverage units may determine who stays & who goes (between Layne & Gilbert at least).
False start. Today was not padded.GOOOOOOOooooOOOOOOODdd mutha f'n morning gents!
Time to put on the pads and see what these men are made of!!
See, I thought that gif was gonna go a different direction. To the other head.
Once a player has an issue like that, it just doesn't get corrected.
Yep. He's a far-cry from the Donte Moncriefs of the world, but he will definitely be under a microscope this year. I'm more worried about Ebron than I am DJ to be honest. He has a much longer history with drops than DJ.Once a player has an issue like that, it just doesn't get corrected.
He's electric with the ball, and can get open with his excellent route running, but his mental issues with catching it are always going to be a drawback. It's the only thing holding him back from all-pro status. He certainly changes the threat level of the offense, but it's a double-edged sword.
Ebron is the exact same. He is incredible if he catches it. But he frequently kills drives because of his drops.Yep.
