And also you can't cut a player purely for being unvaxxed.
Puts teams in a tough spot. If the Bills want to cut Beasely, for example, they will need to lie and find a reason to say it was for play or financial.

Yeah, that potentially sucks.
People are freaking out about it calling it blatant racism to force those player to wear that yellow band. smhYeah, that potentially sucks.
The yellow band can mean he isn't vaccinated at all, or isn't fully vaccinated yet. Let's hope it's the latter.
That's dumb. The bands are based on vaccination status, and has nothing to do with race.People are freaking out about it calling it blatant racism to force those player to wear that yellow band. smh
Twitter living up to its cesspool reputation. That's dumb. The bands are based on vaccination status, and has nothing to do with race.
Seems like a smart kid. Let's hope he drops that band.
I would be suprised if they didn't bring Skipper back. He is known in PGH and seems to bring it each time.
Not sure they would claim him off waivers, but honestly I would. I like what he bring to the table moreso than Cassius Marsh. Or he can simply provide better competition over camp-bodies like Jamir Jones or Jamar Watson.
Sort of glad so the Steelers wouldn't have taken a flyer on him.
I was sorta hoping they would have cut Ebron and went with Jesse James.Sort of glad so the Steelers wouldn't have taken a flyer on him.
Oh wasn't even thinking of that but yeah I agree I would rather have James over Ebron.I was sorta hoping they would have cut Ebron and went with Jesse James.
James, Freiermuth & Gentry would have been a better TE corps.
Ebron is always going to be a liability.
I was about to ask why I Layne still around, then I checked that he pleaded to the lesser gun charge vs the felony.
Unfortunately they still are pretty desperate for bodies at CB.I was about to ask why I Layne still around, then I checked that he pleaded to the lesser gun charge vs the felony.
I think Pierre played really well last year, and should be our #3 CB unless they make an acquisition before the season starts. I don't see him being pushed off the roster.Unfortunately they still are pretty desperate for bodies at CB.
1. Haden
2. Sutton
3. Pierre
4. Layne
5. Brooks (slot)
6. Brown (slot)
Bubble: Gilbert, Maulet, Acy, Denmark
There's a decent shot that Mark Gilbert pushes Layne or Pierre off the roster. There are some blurred lines here because technically Brooks is a S, but reports are he's getting 1st crack at slot CB. And there's also Tre Norwood who plays both CB & S. Lots of talent here, but only 2 are really known.
Agreed. At this point Pierre would really only be at risk if he suffers a camp injury and Gilbert shows out. The coaches love the kid's size & coverage skills. Layne is clearly the most athletic of the group, but it has yet to translate to the field and time is running out for him. Honestly what these guys do on the ST coverage units may determine who stays & who goes (between Layne & Gilbert at least).I think Pierre played really well last year, and should be our #3 CB unless they make an acquisition before the season starts. Maybe Gilbert can fight to overtake him, but Pierre is gonna stick.
