I'm happy to have him back for depth. Would just hope someone other than him or Heifferpepper is found to start.

Spillane got tendered but Adeniyi wasn’t. Seemed to be not by choice but due to being a cap casualty.

Sucks they liked adeniyi. Maybe we can still bring baccm
Bummer. I liked Adeniyi even though he's been somewhat of a disappointment. Lot of praise every offseason during camps, but hasn't quite materialized into the regular season. Ola was good on ST, but didn't add much as a rotational OLB. They can find a cheaper rookie to match that production that he provides, and could possibly give them a higher ceiling.

I'd be ok with a vet min type deal for AVill... Anything more is overpaying. Dude was pretty awful last season, and was showing decline in 2019. Not much to be optimistic about him "returning to form".

KC has said numerous times that he may hang em up when Ben retires.

He's been around a while. Hitched his wagon and success to a franchise qb. Hard to do a rebuild..........I think the yearlys are more KC than the Rooney's, correct? Just like Ben, he's earned going on his time IMHO. But im sure like most yinzers his record is not good enough, and we need more recent lombardis

Yes. If it were up to the Rooneys then KC would be on 3-5 yr contracts. KC has publicly stated for the last 2-3 years that he prefers the yearly approach.

Thought so. Think we should thank our stars we've managed to hide Omar Khan. He was supposedly the rec hire in houston and they didnt take him. I have a feeling he's turned some things down waiting here.......

Very much agree. Every offseason I keep fearing Khan is going to leave. But I think if Khan had received a serious offer then KC would retire. I don't think the Steelers would allow him to leave.

I think they've shielded him.....theres no way he hasnt had serious consideration for some time now......just my opinion. Sometimes its worth waiting in the wings if your dream job is guaranteed.

Yep. Another likely reason why he has stuck around. Teams like the Texans, Panthers & Skins definitely don't hold the same sort of promise... Maybe better money, but is it the right move?

Win win for both sides. Steelers get a quality depth piece and (likely) starting slot CB for 2 years, and Sutton doesn't get tied down to a lengthy bargain deal. He will prove himself and then get a better deal in 2023.

If they can find a way to re-sign Hilton... I'm gonna be a very happy man. But sadly it would most likely require cutting Nelson or Haden, unless they restructure both?
