Let me see if I get this straight - the issue isn't whether or not someone who was vaccinated got sick, and likely before the unvaccinated teammate. The issue is simply because the teammate who later got sick was not vaccinated.

Sure, but that's beside the point. Wood refused to get the vax. I don't know if Solano got it from him, but regardless -- Wood is not available, at the MOST IMPORTANT time of the season, and we are thin on starters. If he got sick and had been vaxxed, then bad luck. But he wasn't. And if he had been vaxxed, quite likely he doesn't get nearly as sick or miss nearly as much time.
