One of those claims that was not FZ's better picks. He never looked good with Baltimore, got claimed by the Giants in 2019 and didn't look that good with them either, got sent to AAA, hit well there and got another brief look in 2020. He couldn't find any takers this year and played only 2 games in the Mexican League.

He kinda ruined Mike Krukow for me.

Blach was the second pitcher in a couple years who came up for the Giants who Krukow absolutely gushed about, saying he would be a mainstay in the Giants rotation for the “next 6 years” (the other being Heston).

This was when Kruk’s absolute, over the top homerism just got too much for me. He never has a neutral thing to say about a Giant (let alone anything negative or critical). He borders on Hawk Harrelson in his homerism.
