As it stands today, our likely 25 man roster:

SP: JC/Shark/DRod/Webb/Beede

RP: Watson/Peralta/Gott/Moronta/Gustave/Rogers/Smith

C: Buster/Garcia

IF: Belt/Dubon/Craw/Longo/Avelino/Solano/Wong

OF: Pillar/Dick/Yaz/Slater/Duggar

much will change, of course.

Good for him; we get the comp pick.

I'm glad he found a spot and "we" were able to let him showcase his stuff. That is a *significant* raise for him (mlbtraderumors is saying $40M). He can retire at 32 and live off the interest from his payout.

Did you just throw "Smith" in there as a joke? *I* certainly don't want Burch anywhere near the pen next season unless the Giants can magically fix him.

And no love for Sam Selman? or Fernando Abad?

PS: Shouldn't that be our 26 man roster?

Isn’t Moronta expected to miss much of ‘20?

Haven't been following the offseason trades (too depressed about my Stanford squad).....

Is Bum's departure a done deal or is there and reasonable likelihood he'll return?

Not really concerned if he'll be a Giant in '20, although I would have liked to get some trade value when he was under contract

I suspect the Giants will try to keep him, but only half-heartedly. This is a full tear-down rebuild.

we will get a comp pick between rounds 2 and 3 when he signs elsewhere, though. We already got one for Smith signing with Atlanta.

Bum loved Boch and his style of managing. Kapler is not that. Given the choice for Bum, I don't think he'll choose Kapler.

This ones not happening, but I'll bet a lot of Giants fans are gonna be clamoring for this:

Rays Designate Matt Duffy For Assignment
I saw that. He just hasn't been the same since going to Tampa. Did you see that Lucius Fox got his contract purchased? He's yet to have a breakout year in the minors but is still really young for the leagues he's played in.
