Aggressive incompetence demands that we start this NFL Coaches Dead pool even before the end of week 2.
Who among the pantheon of worthy coaches will get fired first?
Dominating performances by Matt Patricia and Dan Quinn are the envy of the league.
So far I have:
1. Matt Patricia Lions <------- MFer won't last the season
2. Dan Quinn Falcons Teach the players to pick up the damn ball
3. Adam Gase Jets
4. Doug Marrone Jaguars
5. Doug Pederson Eagles (What have you done for us lately?)
Agree? Disagree?
Discuss. What did I miss?
Nagy would have been gone but the Bears managed to get into the playoffs so that will give him another season.
Maybe but I think he gets to next season. He may well be on the hot seat if the Bears don't come out strong though. Not much leeway for him at this point, imo.Another season, I don't think so.
I think that gets Nagy just as many games as the Bears play in the playoffs.

yep, agree totally that should be the approach but it's duh, Bears and it's pretty much a moot point until that franchise gets a bonafide franchise QB that's worth a damn. They never seem to get QB right.Giving Nagy another season while he's on thin ice going into it is not a good formula for success.
But, I will not be surprised if/when the cheap ass Bears keep Nagy.
It would be a much easier transition to a new coach and staff if the change was made at the end of this Bears season.
Pederson is next. His embarrassing give up during the Washington game was inexcusable.
