Only Golladay isn't a disappointment. And he'd be depth on any team with a modern offensive scheme. #3 guy.

Agnew occupying a roster spot to kneel on kickoffs isn't anything Im rooting for either.

Field position is going to be critical with the new offense. He might not get many chances but if he does well on the ones he gets it will make a huge difference.

Not sure anything will make a huge difference.

Other than Martha dying and her kids selling.

You know it is slow when the Freep's top story is that A'Shawn is fat.

Lions defense played 5 or more DBs on 84 percent of snaps in 2018

"the Lions were in nickel 58 percent of the time and dime on 26 percent of opposing snaps"

"Patricia dialed up the base defense just 15 percent of the time in their first season in Detroit. Only the Patriots and Cardinals used a traditional seven-man front less frequently."

This is not news. He had the shoulder injury before he was even signed. He had minor surgery. It wont even keep him out of camp. Just restrictions till the start of the season. It would be more concerning if this was a reinjury of the shoulder he had the surgery on.

Lions Sign DT Mike Daniels to 1 year 9 mil contract. This could be one of the best units in the league this year now.

Daniel's said he picked the Lions because of Patricia. I was not a fan of his first year, but someone coming to the Lions because of staff is something new.

Patricia gave him $9 mil for one season. Of course Daniels likes him.

There were other teams like the Browns that offered more. I think it was close to 11 mil.

Nice signing. Cool to know he will be out for revenge against the ass packers and play hard.

Got a link without the blocks?

not the same link and I do not subscribe to The Athletic but here's POD link

5 observations from Week 1 of Lions training camp

1. The Hock God hype is for real
I figured we’d get this one out of the way, since you’re probably getting tired of hearing the hype surrounding T.J. Hockenson (you’re probably not) and his domination during training camp practices.

After reading about Hockenson’s performance in OTAs and the first two days of practice, I was excited to see how he fared this weekend, and I was not disappointed. I’ve been told Hock has not dropped a single pass in four days, and has made several spectacular catches, to boot. On Sunday Hockenson laid out for a ball along the sideline after getting over the top of Will Harris. His confidence is through the roof right now.

BB_72; There was also a statement from POD that Hock hasn't had an uncontested drop. I can't locate that link at this moment.
