Pittsburgh needed some short-term help opposite Joe Haden and a contingency plan for him, too. Consider Nelson is built the same way, 5-11, 194 pounds — Haden stands 5-11, 195. Nelson was key to Kansas City being respectable on back-end coverage despite other corner issues, and he proved to be a solid on-ball defender with four interceptions and 15 passes defended. (Age: 25)

I’m warming up a little to the trade... but judging at how putrid the Chiefs secondary was i’ll temper the expectations. Heard he’s more of a nickel back than pure outside guy. They already have one of those in Mike Hilton, so hopefully this kid can play outside. Still hope they draft someone at any rate.
