i know he was my target CB, id be happy

It might happen...DEN seems to be the next home for Kareem Jackson, CB for HOU...good chance they are not in the market for Roby with the payday the are reportedly looking to give Jackson.

Would rather have him over Xavier. Begs the question, is the TE position on our draft boards? Caleb Wilson from UCLA might be a great option with the 2nd round pick if that's the case.

No doubt...Grimble is more athletic, the classic looks like Tarzan, but plays like Jane guy. I don't expect JJ to light it up in DET, but this does probably mean one of those picks will go towards the TE position...meanwhile they've tendered Grimble with a healthy contract for '19...$2.5mil if read that right. That is a LOT of money for him imo.

Serious question here:

How do people who make millions of dollars to run an NFL franchise make such bad decisions and let things get this bad in the organization? Is it lack of true leadership? Lack of evolving as owners/coaches/players? Lack of control in the locker room? Mixture of the three? I feel like I'm scratching my head and saying "Why did they do that?" more so than I am nodding my head saying "That was a good move". We went from a catch away from the Super Bowl to an internal implosion and missing the playoffs in 2 years. :-(

Art2 is a business guy, not a football guy like Dan was.

And business is good. Championships, not so much. But making lots of money.

Honestly, I couldn't even say what team Tyrell Williams is on.

Must be a real playmaker.
chargers, buried on the depth chart, long ball specialist, good player, just not a great route guy

if we get AJ brown in round 2, and burns on round 1, id be ecstatic. I LOVE AJ BROWN.

hes my best all around wr in the class IMHO.

nkeal harry more upside as dominant.
also like Deebo, and the standford kid
deebo is a guy to keep an eye on, he was really good in college, his stock slipped a bit for no real reason, had a great combine, and a great post season.........dude can play some ball

Now I'm getting my hopes up for this, so... I'm certain to be really disappointed.

I wouldn't be opposed to AJ or Deebo at 20 overall, either.

I'm not a fan of Metcalf or some of the other WR's.

aj at 20 is ok for him, deebo i think can be had in round 2 by rankings.

metcalf has uncanny tools, but he never finished a season in college, never was the top guy on his own team, runs all fly routes.......he may be great, but it seems like a DHB gamble
