Durant, Kidd are probably the top #2 picks. Some recent #2 pick successes though have been Oladipo, D'Lo, Ingram and Ja.

Just wanna mention that the Celtics have the second best record in the EC. And Kyrie still isn't playing. Wonder if the Nets has buyers remorse?
Yep.
Draft has been a crapshoot since the beginning.
The #2 spot has been the kiss of death often.
Don't forget Danny Ferry.
Shawn Bradley wasn't a great pick either.
Durant, Kidd are probably the top #2 picks.
How much money did they give him & how many games has he played so far?
And that doesnt matter. Nets were never expected to win anything this year. He's actually helping them. Going to get a better pick now. It was never about this year for them once KD said he's not coming back til next season
Ok now i understand why he did it
Camby, Tyson Chandler...I was looking over drafts after all this conversation. Marcus Camby was a #2 pick. No one would really consider him a bust because he's probably one of the best NBA players to never make an All-star team, but damn look at that draft and who was taken after him.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Stephon Marbury
Ray Allen
Antoine Walker
Kobe
Peja
Steve Nash
Jermaine O'Neal
Big Z
and Ben Wallace went undrafted that year.
And of course the Warriors took Todd Fuller that year.
Dammit. I was hoping he already wanted outta L.A. & would consider Boston.
Why did they bother to make this public?Ok now i understand why he did it
Why did they bother to make this public?
I'm not even sure why the Lakers even bothered to make this offer.
No way was he taking it.
Maybe they were trying to get a commitment before they blow their roster up, ala LeBron in Cleveland when they had a chance to land George?
Otherwise, doesn't make sense.
Nope. Bucks on a team friendly deal...
