2017 Pickem Discussion Thread

Only reason to put a game with a 20+ point spread on the pickems is if both teams are ranked, like the LSU/Bama game. When both teams are ranked, it automatically makes the list of pickem games.

Iowa is just always tough at home playing ranked opponents. I had called that upset a week ahead of time. Never thought it would be a blowout though.

I get it, all good. Was just telling you my thought as to why it didnt make it.

Completely agree on how Iowa plays vs highly ranked teams at home. They are a team that plays to the level of their competition. Hopefully that is the case for Nebraska at the end of the year.

I cannot decide which is worse, my Pickems strategy or Nebraska football. As bad as my pickems are, I am leaning Nebraska football.

Jed enjoy Minneapolis. We stayed at the Hotel Minneapolis.

The train thing works pretty good up there.

The stadium security will search you. Security is pretty tight. I tried to bring in my bag of props and was told no way. The Gopher fans are nice, we did not encounter one douche.

Maintain the streak. I have never seen Nebraska lose in Minneapolis.

Only prop I will have is my tutu.

I got relatives in Minneapolis so I am staying for free. Will have 16 relatives going to the game and have about 10 friends coming up as well. So there will be an EARLY wake up call for the 11am game and a shit ton of Jager consumed to stay warm.
