I actually did consider that Shannon was not a good HC at Miami, Fl.

However, I went with misery being a bigger mess, and thought the Gators might play one for McElwain. I guess they don't care that he gone.

I hacked JJM's formula, ran the algorithm, and picked the exact opposite.

So what's funny is back in 2012 or whenever that was when I first mentioned "the program" I seriously did spend like 2 days building an alogorithm. Built it out of php code and then I ripped data from NCAA.com and pulled it into my MySQL database and ran it. That same year I managed to kill it in the bowl game pickems. Was it luck? Probably.

But the sad thing is, my godaddy account where I had the code stored expired, and when your godaddy account expires, they don't save your files.....they just dump them. Even if you renew the account later, they're gone.

So I lost the code, and I haven't had the time or the interest to rebuild it since. But it was pretty cool how it all worked. I was pretty proud of it. I'm sure folks think it was a myth, but it really did exist.

Only reason to put a game with a 20+ point spread on the pickems is if both teams are ranked, like the LSU/Bama game. When both teams are ranked, it automatically makes the list of pickem games.
