That guy didn't have a name that sounded familiar. Dick move.

Yeah I put it out there because I'm not familiar with Utah beat writers. But it looks like it's a fake based on the low following.

Well, I'm a Celtics fan. So, I'm hoping to Boston. He's got 30 years of life to live in nicer cities like Miami\San Diego. Only a few years of a chance at playing on a team that could make it to the finals in the foreseeable future. If I was him.... I'm Boston bound.

Maybe, maybe not.
The 2nd half Heat was pretty damn good last year.
Adding Hayward into that mix doesn't elevate the Heat into contention if they keep the rest of the core?

Contention for what? The playoffs maybe.

Have you seen the East? Did you see how the Heat finished up last season? If they keep their core and add Hayward, they should be good enough to get to the ECF, if not the finals. They are easy to overlook because they finished 41-41 and barely missed the playoffs.

But the went 11-30 in the first half of the season because they were decimated with injuries. Once they got healthy, they went 30-11.

Not to mention we operated at a 25% handicap given that Bosh failed his physical yet we still has his salary on the books last season. Level playing field now.

They started 11-30 last year and would have made the playoffs if Dion wasn't injured down the stretch.
Not that they are the same player, but you'd be adding All Star Hayward to replace All Star Bosh who was out all season.
Winslow will also be back.

I think you are underestimating the potential IF he comes.

I saw dudes playing above their heads. If I see it again, it will mean something. Hayward does not put the Heat anywhere near the Finals.

Whiteside and Heyward would be the #1 and #2 options and Dragic would be perfect as the #3 option. Plus, they have some nice young players who could be really good role players. The Heat would be top 3 seed and a possible EC Finalist.

Who played above their head?
I'll admit Dion hit same crazy shots, but maybe he's transitioned into a player who can handle that role?

If this season meant anything, I think we can speak for all non Celtics fans that we don't want to see that same team in the EC Finals.
Maybe if you get Hayward and a rebounder things might change.
