Thompson is poor as fuck compared to some of these these other salaries this offseason....

So is Durant.

See what I did there?

Yeah, he was in beast mode.

I watched the whole game.

Dude played significant minutes in the ECF.

Why is he playing Summer League?

For playing time and experience so that he can move Jae Crowder to the bench or Alaska.

Jerry west has done work this offseason so far. Beverley, Gallo, Griffen, deandre is solid

Solid is a bad look.

It means approximately 40 wins, a first round date with either GS or SA and no chance to land a high pick in the lottery that could significantly impact the future.

This was not the route I expected West to take.

Ever been to San Diego?

A few times as a young sailor between 69-72 and a couple of years ago for a conference during the coldest stretch ever. Everyone was walking around in coats and parkas and scarves. They were looking at me like I was insane in my Bermuda shorts and t-shirt. It was 55 degrees and we had flown in from NH where we had just been through 17 days straight of -10 degree days and -20 degree nights.

What's your question??

Klay is a FA after the 2019 Finals, Dray after 2020.

This is one reason I think the Ws superteam gets 2 more rings, and then maybe are done. Klay will want and deserve a max deal, no way the Ws can afford that, Draymond same thing.

Now, KD, Curry, and Dray plus whomever they get to replace Klay or whatever McCaw has become might be enough to get another, but it will no longer be a lock.

Losing 1 guy means it isn't a lock, but they will be a primary contender for as long as they have Curry and KD. That could be 6 more years. I would not be surprised if they win 4 more titles in that span. The next two are almost guaranteed, and they will have as good a shot as anybody after that.

It's regarding how you're against people making so much money. That's typically a democrat view (rich should be taxed significantly high compared to the poor, etc...).

If congress followed the "all men are created equal" code, everyone would be taxed at the same rate.....no exemptions, no deductions. Straight line tax on all earned income.............but this is the wrong forum for that discussion.

If he chooses Utah, he has an excellent chance to never see round 2 of the playoffs during this contract.
Hopefully someone finally is smart enough to go to the East.

Great response Heat............Perfect response would have been "never see the playoffs".

I hear the Celtics are looking to set up a meeting with Gallinari. I guess they don't feel confident about getting Hayward.

Confidence has nothing to do with it. It's called having a back up, just in case. Boston has $30M under the cap and it's been earmarked for Hayward. They haven't been busy at all waiting for the Hayward thing to either unfold or collapse.

Yeah these moves don't make sense to me. I would've thought West would let Blake walk. With the moves they made, they're a 1st round exit if Gallo and Blake stay healthy.

Something about the Clippers...

"as far as i can tell you guys will have nothing to retain any of those guys except the top 4 besides the mini-mid level (which is like 3 million this year but i think a little bigger next year) and veteran minimum contracts, and like a veteran exception which should be like 2M or something...its def. why they picked up that dleague guy, and have been giving young guys minutes- they will NEED them next year with no ability to pay anyone anything over 3M a year (the mini mid level- but like i said- i think that might be going up a little bit to maybe 4-5 million)."

I'd go with Crawford if I'm the Dubs. Sure you could sell him on taking the minimum since he's likely going to get bought out from Atlanta after the trade goes through. Plus, he'd fill that Barbosa role perfectly.

Any guesses where he goes?
It's easy to make a case for all 3 teams.

Hopefully he puts a lot of weight on what his wife prefers.

And lol at Wiggly.
He is pretty squirmy.
