I disagree. 41 games is too big a sample size to be dismissed as guys playing over their heads. Is it possible that was all it was? Sure. But, like I said, 41 games is a big sample size.

Assuming they weren't simply playing over their heads, I think Hayward absolutely gets them close to the finals.

Especially in the East.

Cleveland will be the prohibitive favorites this year for sure. But, when/if LeBron leaves? It will be wide open and Miami has as good a chance as anybody. Given the dysfunction in Cleveland right now, I find it hard to imagine him staying beyond this year.

Someone mentioned this a few pages back. Of the top 15 players in the league, how many reside in the East?

I count 3: LeBron, Giannis and Wall

The West is nasty. it is going to take years and multiple free agent sigings for the East to catch up. This year, they traded Butler and George for Heyward. Next year they could lose LeBron. Hopefully the next wave of star comes back East to restore some balance.

I wouldn't go that far.....they need Heyward.....or another really good player.

And Waiters is most likely gone.

I don't know about Waiters being gone. He hasn't signed with anyone yet.

TJ12 and I aren't Heat fans but if they get Heyward.....they are definitely an EC contender.

Additionally, if the dysfunction in Cleveland is real (and there's an awful lot of smoke for there to be no fire) that alone could derail them next season. They certainly wouldn't be the first prohibitive favorite to have their season blown up by internal dysfunction.

Yikes. Hadn't even thought of that. Yeah, that's bad.

With all that is going on with the Cavs.....I wouldn't call them the prohibitive favorite....

If Heyward doesn't sign with Boston or Miami.....they can always chase after Nick Young.

Definitely not Wiggy. He appears to be a troll, but he isn't Wiggy.

He made a semi-negative comment about Kyrie saying he was the most Ball dominant player in the league. Which is an exaggeration, but one of the few things he has said that I agree with. It is also why I have never liked Kyrie's game, or Westbrook's game.

Every team needs guys who can create their own offense, but I also think it is a skill that is highly overrated when taken out of context from the rest of a player's contributions.
Dude is trying to throw you off.

He wouldnt touch my "Tristan is a dime a dozen and should be traded "post with a ten foot pole.

Dude would commit Hari kari before he typed those words.
