Hey DJ not to bring up stuff from the past but back on that old site we were on you blasted me when I said Jammin' Jimmer Fredette was gonna be a lousy NBAer, and I was right. And I was also right about Bennett, the moment I heard he was entering the draft I knew it was a mistake. Kinda lame though while talking about your team you went outta your way to mention a player that has nothing to do w/ the Lakers or Lonzo.

I never blasted you for ripping Fredette either.

Fredette never got much of a chance to show what he could do. Career average of 13mpg.....he's a rhythm shooter. Those types need time to play and get in a rhythm. He's a lot like JJ Redick. If Redick only had 13mpg we might be talking about him being a bust. When Redick had less than 18mpg he wasn't producing much, he didn't develop until he got 25mpg in Orlando.

Jammin' Jimmer's problem was he wasn't athletic enough for the NBA & had the chance to prove what he could do while in the league. I watched him play all 4 years @ BYU. Even seeing his Cougars play live on several occasions. And even in college when an athletic enough defender was on him he struggled.

When I asked Healtes84 who other than wiggy & lbj23 are saying LeBron > MJ he said in comment # 2330 that the public in general's saying LeBron > MJ. My point was I've only seen those 2 Cavs homers saying that off the wall nonsense.

There have been plenty outside of these boards saying that Lebron has passed MJ. Anytime there is a Lebron/MJ conversation on sportstalk radio you get several saying this. That is a fact.

However, in the post you quoted, he said "in the conversation." Which, he is in the conversation, KD isn't yet.

I disagree with this. JJ Redick proved why he should be deserving of starter minutes while coming off the bench for the Magic and Bucks. He got his opportunity and LA and did well.

Point is, Redick showed coaches why he deserved more minutes. Fredette never did.

Short memory huh? The fact is you did get pissed when I pointed out his limitations on the court. Pretty much ignoring why I was saying & labeling me a hater because I could see the writing on the wall for him @ the next level. He's not the 1st or the last great CBB player that did next to nothing in the NBA. He just peaked in college. It happens to alotta CBB players. But that doesn't diminish his college career in any way.

Dude........it's China. Marbury who was a shell of himself in the last few years in the NBA has been lighting it up ever since he got to Bejing. You essentially just proved Wamu's point. Although Fredette's a good shooter, he's just not meant for the NBA.

You can't turn youself into a good player without the playing time....fact is Redick got it. Fredette didn't.
