Miami won't have enough room for both of them, unless they trade off players - more specifically Tyler Johnson. Which if we can get PG, I'm willing to say bye to.

Having said that, I still think PG goes for the Lakers. They're starting to show promise and a new direction.

When it comes to Riley, I just don't put anything set in stone.
Oh, if I'm betting money, Lakers all day.

....unless something shocking happens.

Lowe is a reputable guy.

But, people are glossing over the fact that he never specifically said it had to be the Celtics.

I don't think there is any salvaging the Indy situation, not even with Hayward.

But, they could team up elsewhere, even in LA.

In a recent ESPN article by Zach Lowe, he mentioned that Paul George would love to play with Gordon Hayward. With that being the case, the Pacers could potentially make an interesting pitch to Hayward to come back home to Indiana and play with Paul George. It’s certainly an intriguing idea. Nevertheless, a Hayward signing with Indy appears unlikely.

Pretty sure there's at least a 10,000 post thread somewhere on this site where Durant got the BIZNESS.

I agree, Bron gets way more shit than is warranted. Comes with the territory of being the best player in the NBA .But, if the rumors about him fleeing Ohio next year are true, this will be the 3rd time he jumps ship to find a more dynamic trio, easier path.

But, you want us to flame Durant MORE because he out-stacked the ultimate common denominator in team stacking?

^^^this...

I wouldn't hold my breath...

I'm saying outside of this forum when I mention the public in general.

Like I have said many times before MJ's on a level all by himself. There's no reason that this is still a topic. Yet some people have the need to talk about it all the time. No rational NBA fan (notice I said rational so wiggy doesn't count) is still having this discussion. LeBron's chance to even be mentioned in the same sentence w/ MJ was over once his teams lost multiple Finals. A player shouldn't be compared to another that was 6-0 in the Finals & was a 6x Finals MVP.

Look at trojan's explanation. I'm a bit more forgiving on the Finals record than he, but the same premise still applies.

The early rumors are LeBron will leave the Cavs & play for the Lakers after next year correct? If so how would a move to the Lakers help LeBron find a more dynamic trio w/ their current roster? I mean I know the Lakers got Lavar Ball now but that ain't gonna be enough to beat the Warriors or Spurs.:D

He wants to be an owner one day and dealing with Magic can help him attain that. Maybe, even minority owner with the Lakers.

PG is headed there next summer.....PG and James plus their youngsters won't be enough but those 2 might help attract other FA's chasing a ring.

Lebron can never be Joe Montana.

But, he can be Tom Brady.

There is a legit debate on which of those guys is the GOAT.

I still have Jordan and Montana.

The fact that the Celtics skipped over consideration of Jimmy Butler with such apparent ease suggests to me that they may already have a wink and a nod from Gordon Hayward.

As in... Hayward may have already tipped his hand to his old coach... saying he's on his way to Bean Town.

That's what I'm hope'in, anyways. :thumb:

You think Hayward is better then Butler?
Also, Butler has a better team friendly contract for the next two seasons.

I'm not buying those ridiculously priced shoes but am considering the house slippers/slip-on's.

Other than wiggy & that lbj23 fella who else has said LeBron's better than MJ? Those 2 are both overly homeristic trolls & more full of shit than a clogged toilet. To ever listen to any of their biased gibberish is pointless.

Why are you trying to move the goalposts? Where did it say that anyone was saying Lebron was better than MJ?

The point made was that Lebron is in the convo with MJ, Kareem, Magic, etc. and KD isn't. Being in the convo that Lebron is in, brings more scrutiny. If/when KD is in that convo, I'm sure he will be scrutinized accordingly.

If what's being said happens next summer (which I expect) your Lakers will have a different look overnight. I'm still scratching my head as to why that goofball Gilbert fired his GM 2 days before the draft though. But then again Danny Boy just might take Dolan's title of dumbest owner in the league, if he doesn't have that title already.

LeBron doesn't have the hairline to be Tom Brady. Plus he doesn't wear Uggs like Tommy Boy.

Yes, we will and while I don't like James....he obviously makes us a lot better.

I never liked Kobe much but I respected his talent....

Basically a change in strategy for LeBron.
Less focus on rings because his path was blocked, and more focus on life after basketball.
