I thought it wouldn't work but the more I think about it, the more I think it can. Harden and Beverley split duties a lot. If they leave Harden as the primary guy but insert Paul into Beverly's spot, it works better than you think. CP3 would basically be a SuperBeverley, still giving the defense and 3 point shooting that Beverley brings but with many more tricks as well. It could also work similar to how Jason Kidd ended up playing a more secondary role in Dallas with JET running PNRs with Dirk.

Griffin would work better of the two Clippers, but I can see a scenario for Paul in Houston

Sure, but was Kidd getting near max money to do that? It seems like they would be paying huge for a "restrictor plate" version of CP3.

Who doesn't? Utah, Miami, or Boston? If we're talking about living preference then Miami win everytime but of course I'm sure there are other factors

Of course, but the fact that she doesn't want to stay in Utah is pretty telling to me. She seems open to uprooting the family and moving elsewhere, bad news for the Jazz.

It's criminal because they thought they had a potential dynasty. That was until KD joined the Warriors and one upped Lebron's super team.

I have said it before one championship is all Cleveland needed, with that being said running off to the greatest team and winning then talking shit...IMO it just makes you a pussy bc he never did that shit before. If he doesnt win 3-4 on the W's it is a failure. He has all the talent in the world around him. Still doesnt take away how great he played, even if it was easier.

So, Lebron only needed one title with his current superteam to be successful, but KD has to win 3-4 to be successful?

How about his superteam in Miami? Was that successful even though he only went 2-2?

You can say that now, and yes Cleveland has its title.

But with Lebron still in his prime with by far the highest payroll in the league, multiple titles should've been the goal. Some people viewed Miami as a failure for only winning 2 of 4 titles, and we didn't have the highest roster at any point in the league.

If Cleveland doesn't win next year and Lebron bolts, it will be viewed as a failure from everyone outside of Ohio.

Pretty funny how the poster who had KowarD in his avatar and arguably talked the most shit about KD going to GSW is too much of a coWaRd to show up after his team gets crushed.

While I disagree with @Shanemansj13 take, at least he and @gordontrue have the balls to still be here.

Post of the year candidate?

HUGE advantage Miami if he's truly equally torn between the two cities.

It is interesting, because all 3 have very unique advantages.

Miami has the weather, the glamorous lifestyle and reports say that is where Hayward's wife wants to be.

Boston has his college coach and gives Hayward the best chance to play for a contender right away.

Utah is his current team. It is always difficult to change teams. Hayward has accomplished a lot in Utah and has built a lot of relationships with teammates and community members. They also have some nice pieces, but last year was probably pretty close to their peak.

I would say Utah has the edge because it is familiar and they can pay him more, but I could easily see him choosing any of the 3.

While I might disagree with those 2, they have shown they'll stand by their team. Wiggy not so much.

While I wouldn't call LeBron's Miami stint a failure, by any stretch, I think many expected him to win more than 2 rings there. Wade declined quicker than most of us thought he would and the partnership between the two was less than perfect. They love each other like brothers, but their games never really meshed perfectly.

Winning 1 in Cleveland is a success for sure.

I also agree that KD needs to win at least 3 or this team will be considered a disappointment. They are being compared to Showtime and the 90s Bulls. They need to win a bunch.

I do agree that with this current group as long as their big 4 is together for the next 4 years, it would be a disappointment for them to not win at least win 2 of the next 4 championships.....Now if one of those guys leave then it is a different story.

I don't think it's more of Wade declining. I think Wade took the wrong approach with his body (in terms of being lighter). Wade after Lebron left had a resurgent year once he dropped weight. He recognized (too late) what he needed to do to his body to extend his career optimally .

But yeah, KD needs to win a bunch quite honestly, 3 would be a good number for him. So far he's 1 for 1.

Wishful thinking.....he's going to go play for his college coach and a team prepared to make a serious run next season.

How's that wishful thinking? Do you talk to Heyward on a regular basis?

You add Heyward to Miami, you could make the argument that Miami becomes a dark horse in the East.

Miami was considered to be in full rebuild. Outside of Golden St., they were the best team in the 2nd half of the season after starting 11-30. We missed the playoffs to the Bulls off a tie breaker. Miami showed that they can get the most out of their talent.

Not saying he's going to Miami definitely. But I don't know how anyone can 100% say for certain where he's going.
