This is a good idea to pursue. It will satisfy AD's demand and fulfill a weakness we have had for years. I have been screamin' for that length of time for the Lakers to address this glaring weakness. The Lakers have tried to fill that hole with non-true Centers but since the big three at the five the Lakers had when they won their bubble championship of Howard, Cacok, and Javale McGee at the 5 and AD as a Power Forward 4, the Lakers have not had a true Center since. This Koloko kid is getting back to that idea of 2019-2020

The Lakers finally pulled-off a decent Center signing. A seven footer actual 5. Dude has some medical issues like blood clotting and is a bit on the thin size at 7-0, 235lb, I am sure the Lakers will remedy both issues.

I don't know if this is going to be a good or bad thing. If Christie gets more experience and he becomes a sharpshooter and plays good D, I guess it will be a good thing.

I think it will be a good thing. He's shown good D and shooting when he's gotten minutes, and they paid him well to retain him. Should be the #2 SG behind Reaves IMO, with Knecht playing the backup 3.

The Lakers should ignore this click bait because Grant is not worth pursuing. Portland wants too much for an aging player and Reddick has some young players that need to be developed!

Making trades just to make trades is pointless, especially when you're playing far above actual market value.

The only moves I regret they didn't get to make would've been to dump someone to sign Valunciunas when Lebron was giving salary to make him essentially free (cap wise), or to later miss on other bargain FAs for that same clogged roster situation (like Gary Trent Jr).
