I moved it back over there, but it keeps its original timestamp. So that means it is back on the 3rd page of that thread. :suds:
If only you could come to my Office and fix it for me when I do these things...

$'s are always the key...I'm wondering how much Damon Harrison is going to get.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that free agent DE Chris Long will visit with the Cowboys at some point in the near future.

This comes after he recently met with the Redskins, but wound up leaving without a contract.

Long, 30, was in the final year of his five-year, $60.31 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $9.75 million for the 2016 season when he was released.

In 2015, Long appeared in 12 games and recorded 19 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble for the Rams. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 98 edge defender out of 110 qualifying players.

Rand Getlin of NFL Media is reporting that the Cowboys and LB Rolando McClain have agreed to a deal that will keep him in Dallas.

McClain, 25, came over in a trade with the Ravens a few years ago and was much more productive than anyone expected him to be. Dallas elected to re-sign him to a one-year contract worth $3 million in April of last year.

However, he was later suspended four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

In 2015, McClain recorded 80 tackles, two sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, and three pass defense.

We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.

Harrison would be my ideal choice for an upgrade on the Dline. Not sure how much money he gets, but I really hope that Dallas is in on this guy. He would really solidify the interior line.

Hearing we got him on another 1 year deal for $5M. Not sure what he did on the field that merits a 66% raise.

Apparently being suspended 4 games gets you paid?

Giants and Eagles out signing CB's

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports Rams free agent CB Janoris Jenkins is signing with the Giants.

  • According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jenkins is expected to receive a five-year contract worth $62.5 million.
  • Mike Garafolo reports that Jenkins deal includes around $30 million fully guaranteed.
Jenkins, 26, was taken in the second round of the 2012 draft and has one year remaining on his four-year, $4.99 million rookie contract that included $2.964 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of just $660,000 for the 2015 season, so you can see that he’s in line for a substantial raise next year.

In 2015, Jenkins appeared in 15 games and recorded 64 tackles, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and 15 pass defenses for the Rams. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

I like Harrison a lot, but don't want to overpay for a run stopper so i am very interested in the $'s. I can't imagine he is going to get huge dollars so we could be in the mix. For whatever reason Rod just refuses to go after this kind of guy. Love him as a teacher in practice and how he works with with what he has, but I question some of his decisions during games and personnel wise.

4M with another 1M tied to a performance bonus
question will always be if he can stay clean. Should be good having him in the off season program

Even better. He seems like the kind of guy that always needs some type of external motivation.

Yes Sir, You had to show minimum love to this guy. Nothing wrong with a low rate 1 year deal for a guy one strike away from sitting a season. Even money if he makes it, but I'm still glad they retained his services

Never saw this about Claiborne. Down to 150lbs??? That doesn't seem right. Don't a lot fo people gain weight when they are on crutches and can't work out? Maybe the doctor told him he had to stop taking steroids??? Then again, if that is how he plays on steroids imagine him without "help"...

note this is form last year:
Morris Claiborne dropped to 150 pounds after surgeries

At this rate all the FA's, aside from a few in the top 75, may be signed by tomorrow! HAHA! Is it this way every year and its just been a year for me, or is it the increased cap that has teams spending frivolously?

Cowboys talking to Matt Moore, formerly of the Dolphins. I could get behind this guy as our backup for a year or two.

I think it is funny, and a decent way to get his UFA name out on the market. Flynn a backup candidate here? He isn't great, but probably cheap.
