I may be wrong but I am just not that crazy about having him on the staff. From DMN it stated-Masterson turns 30 in March and is coming off a season in which he went 7-9 with a 5.88 ERA in just 128.2 innings. Does not excite me.

I'd rather them sign him then acquire Upton or Kemp.

Saldinas would be the logical one but no one wants Luis. Not for one of the starters.

He seems to have a bad year then a good year. He's capable of being a TORP, but he just can't figure out how to be consistent. If we could get him on a 1 year deal where he's trying to get himself a contract, I think it could work out very well.

You are kind of right there. He had good seasons in 2008, 2011 and 2013.

Do we really need another guy that can't play defense that appears to be an eventual DH, if not already? I would more interested if we didn't have a logjam at DH because we have guys that are poor defensively.

Life would be a little easier if we knew Profar was going to hold up completely. Then Elvis becomes subject for trade. I don't want to give up Odor.
