Mario Manningham - WR - 49ers

Free agent Mario Manningham (left knee) is reportedly doing well and "will definitely be ready for the offseason program."

Manningham was placed on injured reserve on December 27 with a "bothersome" left knee, likely stemming from the multi-knee-ligament tear he suffered late in 2012. Unlikely to return to San Francisco, Manningham may have to settle for a minimum-salary contract offer to resurface elsewhere in 2014. A third receiver at best, the 27-year-old has injury and production red flags.

Frank Gore - RB - 49ers

Frank Gore had just one 100-yard rushing day across his final 13 games (including playoffs).

As Evan Silva notes in his Post-Season Top 200, Gore will be taking massive age and workload concerns into 2014. He'll turn 31 in May, has piled up 965 carries over the last three seasons and averaged just 3.65 YPC over the final 10 games of 2013-14. The 49ers would be wise to get Kendall Hunter and Marcus Lattimore more involved. Silva currently has Gore 15th among running backs in his rankings, which can be accessed at the link below.

I have already expected manningham gone. But I wouldn't be surprised if he signed for real cheap. After a full offseason he could be helpful at his rate.

With Tank coming on, healthy, I expected Dobbs to be a casuality first over TJE...

Dobbs has been a decent fill in. He is kinda like the Dixon except on defense.

How bout that stadium series.....:suds::hockeysmile:

As much as I love Gore, I hope he retires or at the very least takes a HUGE step back (along with a pay cut). We get so much more explosive at the RB position with Hunter and possibly Lattimore (depending on health). For all of his unbelievable patience and vision, he just doesn't have any explosion or burst left in his legs and simply can't hit the holes on routine plays like he used to. I will miss him very much and think that he is an absolute master of his craft but it is time for him to go.

I regard Gore very favorably all time as a RB, statistics aside.

Inside the 49ers | Should the 49ers re-sign Boldin? - Inside the 49ers | The Press Democrat, Santa Rosa, CA

The Raiders probably would be willing to trade down from the No.5 pick, especially if quarterbacks Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater have been picked in the top four. The 49ers could trade their first round pick this year and next year, both second round picks this year and a third rounder this year to the Raiders for the No.5 pick, and take the best wide receiver in the draft, Sammy Watkins.

wow! I know this ain't "gospel" but wow......gives an idea of the draft value it would take. all these picks are in the LOW part of those rounds, but still, five for one?

I am not making this trade if it is the 2 firsts and 2 seconds let alone another pick too. Thats crazy.

Yes, if you look who was taken and the WRs taken around #30. It would be a BS trade and sucks.

No I would not make this trade, hell no!

I feel like the Raiders would do less than that.

Our first, and two 2nds for the 5th pick
