Not only would it be stupid for Choo to sign with Houston, but it's just as ridiculous for Houston to make him a substantial offer. He's not going to make a 100+ loss team a contender. As most of you have said, seems like a rather pathetic attempt by Scott

It would be like the jaguars going out and trading their picks and players for adrian peterson this offseason. Like, what? Wtf is the point? You'll still be in last place. The only thing it will due is waste money and give you a slightly worse draft pick. The only positive is it MIGHT increase jersey sales, but even choo isn't an elite mlb player. He's just really coveted this offseason because of how weak it is outside of cano

We need the Yankees to sign Infante. The Reds are interested, and that would allow them to move Phillips. The Reds are probably our biggest competition.

What do you think the Rangers plan would be if Choo waits around to see if the Reds can move Phillips? Do you think we would sign Cruz just in case, or just wait? I'm afraid we will end up with neither.

I heard the reds backed off of choo. But Nelly won't sign until choo signs. He knows that after that he'll be the best hitter on the market so he'll get top dollar, so he's just waiting for choo I'm sure.

When I use to go to Sportshoopla I would click the MLB Forum and all the teams would come up and I would pick the Texas Rangers. But that has not happened the last 2 days and I have to search for our post. Is anyone else having that problem?

I found out by accident once you first go into sportshoopla just scroll down and you will see all the forums and the team breakdowns on the left hand side

Just as we all thought and the right thing for JD to do:

I don't think Houston is as far away as some of you do. They've got some ulta high end talent coming through the pipeline..2 years theyll make some noise. Their owner sucks tho, he's the Max Bialystock of MLB. Content to field an inferior team, so long as he turns a profit.
