We talked to the phils a few days ago about brown, not lee. I was just throwing somethin out there with lee. They want to unload salary, so if we went up to them and said hey we'll take on cliff lee's salary, but we want brown, then it may be worth it. I mean, cliff lee is due 20 mil a year. But if you look at it like you're getting brown too, then you can say that brown is worth 10 mil and lee is worth 10 mil, and that makes it look a lot better. You're sorta killing two birds with one stone too. Getting a good horse of a starter and getting a young, controllable, and great outfielder

Lee is a great pitcher I'm iterested

LOL apparently the fanbase wants a dome with an A/C, because Texas would get 4 million fans if that happened.

Texas drew 3.4 MM in 2012. I don't think it being hot is what stopped them from hitting 4MM. 2008 was the last time ANY major league team hit 4MM fans. And it has not happened outside of the city of New York since before at least 2001, because I don't have data going back farther than that with me.

They'd want hella prospects for Lee + Brown. I could see them adding Brown to a Papelbon salary dump, but Lee has actual value. Lee alone would fetch nice prospects.

I don't think lee would get nice prospects at all. I think they wanna get rid of him because of the 50 mil they still owe for only 2 more seasons of work. I bet if a team came in and said they would take on that salary then philly would be thrilled
