As I watch Scherzer absolutely dominate during this postseason, one thing comes to mind
We handed that guy his first lost.

Carry on

Been off line for a couple of days but did anybody watch Rosenthal close for the Cardinals yesterday? Reminded me of watching Tanner in the 8th so many times this year where the hitters were just overmatched by his power?

Watching that made me think that it is in fact time for Tanner to be the closer and to use the Joe Nathan money elsewhere.

Did you drink a lot yesterday? I couldn't believe that game...Was so ready for Mack to be fired.

Got my masters at OU and just had a feeling that yesterday was going to be ugly for the Sooners and sure enough.....just pathetic man.

They can thank that joke of an offensive coordinator for that. Heupel needs to go. He keeps trying to cram a square peg into a round hole and has no idea how to adjust or adapt. All Oklahoma needed to do on offense was run the fucking football. Instead Heupel keeps playing like he has Sam Bradford at QB. At some point knight should've been in the game to force Texas to defend the quarterback run, but no. Heupel made zero adjustments and Oklahoma got fucking curb stomped. Oklahoma is going nowhere with Heupel as offensive coordinator.

Bell cannot throw, that is a fact.

He can throw. He can't read the field past about 8-10 yards if he's facing a defensive secondary with a pulse. Either way, Heupel had no business calling the plays he did and he failed miserably at putting the offense in a position to succeed. He had the tools to beat Texas, and he failed miserably. He's done this way too often and he has no business as OC. Move him back to qb coach and get a real offensive coordinator.

How does OU have such mediocre pass throwers?

Their offense has never been the high octane offense it was since Mike Leach left.

Agreed, you nailed it with the Bradford comment and as long as they keep treating it as if they have a great QB they will struggle in the Big XII. I was screaming at the TV yesterday for them to get in that modified pistol with the three backs back there with Bell and keep running the ball out of that formation until Texas shows they can stop it. Texas never did stop the run well when OU used that formation.

Exactly, they could've controlled the clock and kept Texas honest by occasionally releasing Millard our one of the other backs for a pass over the middle but Heupel showed absolute shit for brains. Heupel needs to adapt himself to the tools he has instead of trying to force them to be something they're not. With the stable of backs we have, we should be able to run on anybody. But thats not good enough for Heupel. Problem is, somebody forgot to tell him Bradford and Jones left.

I believe knight is a pretty good passer and an outstanding runner who just isn't ready for this big stage yet. Hopefully he will be next year. As far as bell goes, I dunno. He put up gaudy numbers in high school so the question falls on scouts I guess.

Millard is a beast man. I'm glad someone else can look at that game and feel the same as I did. Just run the damn ball and the Sooners would have weathered the early UT barrage and eventually worn them down and won the damn game. Cost me some serious BBQ and scotch to a UT buddy.

Kenny Stills was smart to leave when he did.

Damn you Romeo..... If Mack is there next year, I'm switching teams. It continues to baffle me, how can a man underachieve and basically suck at his job for 4 years and suffer no consequences ??
