Assuming we keep Moreland as the primary DH, and in-spite of him not having a good season, I still think he can have a 75+ RBI season as the DH/back-up 1st baseman. DH was a problem for us last year, so it seems maybe we've helped ourselves there. But with Kinsler and Cruz moving on, and Profar/Fielder taking over, I'm guessing this is a wash from a RBI standpoint.

This is one of the reasons I'd like to see us add a bat with the catcher, and obviously have to have one in LF.

This is stunning to me, if true. Just from the standpoint of trading within the division, and to our top rival, makes little sense to me.

I can't get these to open up for me, so would someone tell me what they have we want? Who else is "potentially" is involved beyond Gentry?

ugh, I hate trades like this. Trading one known quantity, which is a decent ML player, for a crapshoot of "prospects" and doing so with the team that has beat you in the standings the last two years.

Is this JD's answer to our LF woes? Puzzling.....
