I don't see JD signing Napoli, but that would be cool.

I can see Nap being more valuable to the Sox than to us, and I believe they recognize this. Not only did he do a very fine job for them, but their fans loved him just as much as the Texas fans did.

I know he's got bad hips but I look for him to get at least 2 years with a nice 3rd year option.

They will look better with Devin Harris taking Mekels minutes and Brandan Wright back on the bench. That 4th qtr was terrible tho, and absolutely the last person I want taking a crunch time shot is Vince Carter.

I'm sticking with my Corey Hart or Mike Morse as DH prediction. I don't think JD will give up a 1st rd pick for a DH.

Calderon is important to the Mavs. We had no flow on offense down the stretch because of his absence. If he misses games we will be in trouble. He was having his best game of the year too.

That's a decent point. Sometimes we ignore the park and a player's surrounding cast to formulate options.

I'm not sure you're right, but it is a good perspective view.

Eh. I'm not interested. I agree he would be better if not in Safeco, or on that losing team, but he rarely ever walks. His power would be nice, but that's about it.

It's not sanctimonious if you walk-your-talk, and Ziegler + management may have very well meant the words he spoke.

But, there's an awful lot of glass houses in MLB now, and sometimes one may be an occupant of said house, even without their knowledge.

Anyone who has benefited from the existence of PEDS which is EVERY baseball player, it's sanctimonious. PEDs saved baseball.
